About Dawson PTA

Dawson PTA is a dedicated group of parents and friends. We support many of the school's programs and know the benefits that can be seen when a parent decides to get involved with the Parent Teacher Association.

Our PTA supports many of our children's school enrichment programs including:

• The Science Museum
• Ben Franklin
• Artists
• Authors
• Musicians
• Marionettes

We conduct over 30 support enrichment programs through-out each year. Our fundraisers include:

• A fall fundraiser - NEW this year Entertainment books
• Book fair, the proceeds of which buy new books for the library and classrooms
• Bake sales, food sales
• Yankee candle sale
• Box top collections
• Papa Ginos nights

Although both members and non-members are always welcome at any PTA meeting or event, membership allows you to vote on PTA officers and items of business at meetings. We encourage all parents to become members, and welcome all ideas and suggestions.
